Conserving Water Reduces Your Bill!
We have done our best to keep the rates to a minimum and will continue doing our best to provide you rates that are among the lowest in the State for the best water in the State.
Take Note Of Our Senior/veteran/low Income Discount Program:
The Washington Township MUA receives notification from the Washington Township Tax Assessor’s office of residents that qualify for senior/veteran/low income discounts. Please contact the Washington Township Tax Assessor for details here.
Water rates
Current residential water rates are based on a rate schedule by allowance. The more water you conserve the lower your quarterly bill. A base rate is charged for a 10,000 gallon allowance. The rate schedule outlines the current residential water rate schedule by meter size. Apartment buildings, trailers, fire houses, schools, industrial and commercial properties have a different rate structure.
Sewer rates
As of March 1, 2023 the sewer rates are a fixed $74.00 per quarter base rate plus a variable rate of $1.80 per 1000 gallons.
