Our water may occasionally be cloudy or discolored for two reasons:
1- Unauthorized use of fire hydrants.
2- Bi-annual hydrant flushing for maintenance of the water supply system and fire protection system.
The level is typically kept at between 0.8 and 1.2 PPM.
The entire water system is looped, so there is a mix of all the wells. However, you may receive more water from one particular well based on the location of the well compared to your home (see Well & Tank Sites).
